So good to me...
Looking back at last week...
I think Band Festival Day will always be one of my favorite days of the year! Getting to watch the parade with our granddaughters this year made it even better... None of us wanted it to be over! ❤️🥁
Crickets officially outnumbered mosquitoes the past several days. 🦗🦗🦗🦗🦗🦟 And there's also a spider the size of Manhattan living in the parking lot in Marble Hill. 🕷️😭 (Where's that shop lizard when I need it?! 🦎)
It seems that Damascus knives win the prize for "Most Popular Item of the Week"... We're going to need to find a source for more of those! (Holler if you "know a guy"!)
It is SO FUN when y'all bring your family members in to visit and shop... What a compliment that you choose to spend time together in one of our little shops! I met a son, a daughter, a couple of sisters, and several friends who were visiting from out of town...because y'all chose to bring them to Newfound Joy. Thank you. 💚
I'm not sure I can call it a passion exactly, but I sure do enjoy bringing a crusty old piece of furniture back to life. I'm also definitely not even close to being a pro... But I think I'll keep my eyes peeled for a couple more projects to fix up! Or maybe you have something you'd like me to freshen up... Let me know! I'd love to help if it's in my wheelhouse!
Just about the time I FINALLY got the mannequin dressed for fall (100% didn't take a picture though 🤦🏻♀️)... It's time to start thinking about Christmas!
Speaking of Christmas... Today is "Let's go dig in the storage unit and see what Christmas we have" Day! 👀🎄🎁
