Glass lenses offer far more scratch protection and better optics but barely go below $200. All of our frames come with polarized glass lenses for under $100.

A big inspiration to why our brand is named SAND is the lack of affordable glass lenses on the market. Since glass is made from the melting of sand at high temperatures, we thought the name was perfect.

Glass lenses are far more optically correct than your standard plastic lens. Secondly glass lenses offer far superior scratch resistance than plastic.

We set out to offer affordable scratch resistant glass lenses at more than half the price of the top name brands. Therefore you no longer have to pay $200+ to receive top quality & durable lenses anymore.
