Just a reminder that anyone under 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian while visiting Pizza Records and Street Trash.

We’ve always wanted our stores to feel welcoming. We like being a place where people can hang out, discover music and movies, play games, talk to staff, and spend time downtown. That community atmosphere matters to us.

That said, lately we’ve had repeated issues with disruptive and unsafe behavior both inside the stores and around neighboring businesses - excessive noise, bothering customers and staff, running through the stores, throwing objects outside and at people, and treating the space disrespectfully.

We also want to remind parents that younger kids should not simply be dropped off downtown without supervision. While we work hard to maintain a welcoming environment, downtown is still a public space and we cannot monitor where kids go, who they interact with, or what situations may arise outside the stores. If kids are spending time in our stores, we ask that a parent or guardian remain with them.

We’re asking everyone to help us keep these spaces fun, safe, and comfortable for customers, staff, neighboring businesses, and the community as a whole.

Hanging out is absolutely fine.
Disrespectful behavior is not.

Thanks to everyone who continues to support the stores and treat the space with care.

Been feeling a little discouraged lately, but it's just a bump in the road.

I know some of you mentioned that you wanted a copy. The next batch should arrive some time this week. I will have copies for sale exclusively at Street Trash for $20/each.

This is simply to cover the cost of the shoots and printing...

If we sell out quickly, I may do a third run. But...stay tuned, we may be doing a second magazine this summer. That will come in a separate announcement.

Meanwhile, head out to Pizza Records on the weekends. Yours truly has been filling in on Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays behind the counter as the rest of the staff gears up for Holler - Film.

I'll be there today on Memorial Day from Noon to 5 p.m. Come by and say hello in between cookouts and remembering our fallen veterans.
