The time has come to break my winter hiatus with an announcement. After a lot of back and forth feelings, Tim and I have decided it’s time to sell our property in downtown Jacksonville, IL.
We purchased it in 2022 and did a full remodel. Keeping with the character of the building, we updated systems, replaced a roof and so much more (literally, tuck pointing, painting, a new storefront, etc!). There are some finishing details to button up but the bones are solid and infrastructure is new and ready for you. This beauty is ready to live another 100 years.
We added the 2 bed/2 bath apartment upstairs. It is FULL of charm and has the best view.
Our family has experienced so much in this building. Owning our storefront, to living in the apartment while we remodeled our house. It’s been 4 years of growth and dedication.
If you are unfamiliar with Jacksonville, our downtown has went from a few small businesses here and there to every building being rejuvenated. It’s a great time to invest in this small town and we are hopeful the next owner can carve out their own piece of history within these walls.
