Let’s get down to business! (Points if you sang the Mulan song in your head)
The goal of Rad+Thrift has always been to provide an alternative way to shop consciously. But what does that mean?
We’re living in a culture where styles change every week and Shein hauls are the norm, which leads to overconsumption and ends in massive waste.
Instead of scrambling to keep up and buying items that will only be worn once (or not all, yes, I’m guilty too), why not dare to consider another way?
Why not make fashion choices based on what we like instead of what’s trending? On the quality instead of the price?
And why not try to find the beauty in what already exists?
Every time I find a piece of vintage or thrifted clothing to add to my personal closet and style, it feels like a tiny way to stick it to the man (aka, save clothes from landfills, not buy into trends, take tiny steps conscious living and buying.
