Found a good deal on two of Stephen Sebastian’s lithographic embossed prints. “Night Sledding” and “An early Winters Morning’ from the 1980s.

Stephen Sebastian began his professional artistic career in 1975. Over the decades, his work has achieved national recognition for its distinct take on uncommon realism. Rather than simply painting flat, realistic landscapes, he pioneered a style focused heavily on visual and emotional depth, frequently utilizing embossed textures, hand-primed wood or linen canvases, and deep contrast to make scenes pop off the page.

Stephen being a North Carolina native now resides in Thomasville where he focuses more on oil paintings and other types of art

The Re*****on Portable typewriter, introduced in 1920, was a landmark in design that successfully brought a full-size, four-row keyboard into a truly compact machine. Primarily designed by John Henry Barr to challenge the popular Corona 3, this machine was a "wildly successful" entry into the portable market and became an icon of the 1920s.

Dating potentially to the late 19th century but more likely circa 1920, this wicker rattan sewing basket stand features diamond patterns that were particularly popular during the 1920s, albeit with Victorian antecedents. Inspecting details such as screws is crucial in accurately dating antique furniture. Based on these characteristics, I would argue that this piece aligns more closely with Art Deco styling than Victorian, while also highlighting its well-maintained state considering its age.

Found a nice working mahogany GE Telechron clock from the early 1950's. Telechron was a significant player in the electric clock market, known for its innovations with alternating current clocks.
General Electric acquired Telechron and this acquisition allowed GE to leverage Telechron's innovations, such as the classic red dot indicator found on some of their clocks (shown in the pic).
Early Telechron clocks, particularly from the 1930s, were also used for promotional purposes, such as marketing new GE refrigerators and other appliances.
General Electric ran this style of clock as its last of the old models before creating more modern clock designs.

Found a beautiful secretary desk made from solid mahogany in 1930.

The secretary desk originated from the French escritoire, which was a small writing desk with a surface that could fold down or pull out. The word "secretary" comes from the Latin word for "writer".

The first authentic secretary desk was created by Jean-François Oeben, the royal cabinetmaker to Louis XV. The design was a combination of elegance and functionality, and was popular with the European aristocracy.
