Today, GFM Gives Back is about someone very special to us. Someone whose time here was far too short, but whose impact will last a lifetime.

Our nephew, Shadoe Duran, was born with Down syndrome. Before his first birthday, we lost him due to a heart defect. His life was brief, but he will always be a part of our story.

That’s why this collection means so much more than a shirt.

Look closely at the handprint in our design. The initials SD stand for Shadoe Duran. Turn them around, and they become DS — Down syndrome. A small detail carrying a lifetime of love, remembrance, and purpose.

In honor of Shadoe, GFM is donating 100% of proceeds from our Down Syndrome Awareness collection to Angels in Disguise, a nonprofit that helps children with Down syndrome and their families through adoption assistance, grants for life-saving heart surgeries, and educational support.

For us, this is personal. We know how precious every moment is, how deeply a child can touch a family, and how devastating it is when that time is cut short.

We can’t change Shadoe’s story. But we can honor his life by helping other families write theirs.

This is what GFM Gives Back is about. More than apparel. More than awareness. A purpose that reaches beyond the finish line.
