Celebrating the beautiful cultures, traditions, stories, music, food, families, and dreams that make the Hispanic community so special, especially during this Hispanic Heritage Month! 🌎✨

This message from Selena Quintanilla is one we hope every child hears:

β€œIf you have a dream, don’t let anybody take it away, and always believe that the impossible is possible.”
- Selena Quintanilla

Dream BIG. Believe in yourself.
…and never let anyone tell you that your dreams are impossible. 🫢

🌟 PEAS: What is one BIG dream you have?
πŸ’ PARENTS: What did you dream of becoming when you were little?

πŸ‘‡ Tell us in the comments! Let’s fill this post with BIG dreams! πŸŒ±πŸ’š

Leave it to the kids for an honest review! πŸ˜‚

If there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that kids will tell you exactly what they think! Watching these three peas give their Wondermade review had us laughing so hard because their candid and unexpected little comments are the BEST part! πŸ’š

And honestly… they had A LOT to say about these marshmallows! 🀣

We discovered Wondermade at Disney Springs on our road trip and kept them with us in the car until we got back home to try them. πŸš— Wondermade started back in 2011 with a candy thermometer and a recipe for marshmallows given as a Christmas gift and has grown into a whole world of handcrafted, flavored marshmallows. 🍑

They make their marshmallows with real cane sugar and kosher gelatin, using a special process to create those soft and fluffy little bites with BIG flavor! With so many fun and unexpected flavors, there’s definitely something for everyone! πŸ˜‹

Their Disney Springs location even offers FREE samples, so you can taste the wonder for yourself! ✨

But don’t take our word for it…
Take it from the kids. πŸ˜‚πŸŒ±πŸŒπŸ«›

Because when kids give you an honest review, you know you’re getting the real deal! πŸ™Œ

✨ A little Disney Springs magic! ✨🏰

We made a quick pit stop on our drive back home last month and packed in SO much Disney fun! 🎢🌴 Live music, lunch at Rainforest Cafe, LEGO exploring, delicious handcrafted marshmallows and FREE samples at Wondermade, decadent cookies and coffee at Gideon's Bakehouse, hot air balloon views, and somehow surviving that HOT Florida heat! πŸ₯΅πŸ˜‚

A wonderful day, a little Disney magic, and SO many reasons for our next visit! πŸŒ±πŸŒπŸš—πŸ«›πŸ“šπŸ’šβœ¨πŸ«Ά

πŸ“šπŸŽƒ SPOOKY BOOK MAIL!!! πŸ‘»πŸ’š

One of the sweetest blessings of this author journey has been meeting the incredible, Amy Doslich | Raising Readers, through social media. She is an AMAZING author, mom, all around lady, and the heart behind Discover Kids Books & Kids Ask Authors Answer, and she has been such a wonderful source of support, encouragement, and guidance along the way. πŸ₯Ή

And now… her newest Halloween book, Not So Scary Mary, has arrived! As a family who LOVES all things Halloween and spooky fun, this one has us especially excited for our reading corner! πŸ“š

It arrived sooner than expected… (so I had to run outside to meet the Amazon truck in my pajamas to get it πŸ˜‚) and we can’t wait to share MORE with you this weekend! πŸ₯°

Go check it out, download or purchase your copy on Amazon today! πŸŽƒπŸ“š You’re going to LOVE this Halloween read! πŸ‘»βœ¨

So grateful to our library and its wonderful team for a truly special event bringing everyone together and to each person who stopped by, shared a smile, bought a book, or showed their support. Thank YOU! 🫢

So much talent, so many stories, and so much love for books all in one place! What a beautiful book day! πŸŒ±πŸŒπŸ“šπŸ«›βœ¨
