People always ask me, “Who is Laney?”

Dear Laney isn’t just a boutique—it’s a love letter.

I named my brand after my grandfather, Laney, who passed away in 2012. He was one of the people who believed in me before I had proof to believe in myself. When I started this brand in 2014, I wanted his name to live on through something beautiful.

This clip is from a podcast I did back in 2018, , where I shared the story behind the name. Watching it years later reminds me that while so much has changed, the “why” has never changed.

Every package, every collection, every milestone… it all carries a piece of his legacy.
