This program gives individuals with disabilities an opportunity to learn work-related skills, hold down a wage-earning job, and achieve their full potential. As Dempsey is a firm believer in the dignity of work, we support Allied’s Community Employment Program. Over time, many participants have joined our family of employees, making valuable connections and contributions.

Recently, Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply acquired Capital Uniform Services, expanding our service south along the Hudson River from Hyde Park to Yonkers. A key driver of the region’s bustling restaurant scene is Hyde Park’s prestigious Culinary Institute of America. Over the years, their talented graduates have made their mark around the world, including in Dunmore, PA, where Cara Mia’s Delicatessen, Sibio’s Restaurant, and Dempsey were founded.

An avid foodie always in search of an excuse to dine out, Pat Dempsey knew that visiting customers was the perfect opportunity! As a tribute to his unwavering support of the restaurant industry, the Dempsey family has established four $2,500 Patrick J. Dempsey Memorial Scholarships at the CIA. Building on his achievements, we continue to celebrate and service family-owned restaurants and hospitality businesses.

Dempsey Uniform & Linen Supply President, PJ Dempsey, has served on TRSA’s Board of Directors for more than a decade and has held numerous volunteer leadership positions, including Board Treasurer and Chair of the Government Relations, TRSAPAC, Strategic Planning, and Environmental Committees. Most recently, he served as Vice Chair of the Board.
