“Now after the Sabbath, toward the dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to see the tomb.”

Before Jesus died, He told His followers that He would rise on the third day. In full faith, Mary Magdalene and Mary showed up to the tomb.

They didn’t know exactly what they would find when they got there. They simply knew what Jesus had said—and they showed up.

That call is on your life too.

Show up to where the Lord has called you. Show up even when you can’t see the promise yet. Show up when it feels quiet. Show up when you don’t understand what He is doing.

Faith sometimes looks like standing at the tomb before you ever see the stone rolled away.

Be faithful with the place He has called you to. Wait for Him to meet you there. Trust that when God makes a promise, He is faithful to fulfill it.

Show up. Stay faithful. Trust His Word.

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” — John 15:8

In Matthew 21, Jesus saw a tree covered in leaves, but when He looked closer, there was no fruit.

It makes you ask yourself: Am I producing fruit, or am I just covered in leaves?

It’s easy to look the part—to go to church, read our Bible, share the verses, say the right things. But Jesus sees beyond what’s visible. He cares about what’s actually growing in us.

So this week, don’t just settle for pretty leaves. 🌿

The joy of the Lord is found in producing fruit—letting Him grow something in us that looks more and more like Him.

Lord, make my life fruitful. Not just beautiful on the outside, but rooted deeply in You. 🤍
