Every so often, it's time to get cleaned up for a self-generated headshot, using flash units, a tripod, a timer, reflectors, studio background, and my favorite Canon R5. I did a little post-processing in Photoshop and a combination with NIK Complete (DxO). I also adjusted the white balance in Bridge. The images came out better than I expected.

When I am taking photos with my Canon R50, there are two buttons that are always accidently pressed because they are in the way of my thumb. I finally resolved this by placing a shield over those two buttons. the * and the multiplier. The * button locks the exposure, and I don't want to do that. The multiplier button interferes with how I view my shots. Now it works great!

When one is single, they must cleanup once in a while, shave, haircut, and feel as if I lost 20 lbs.! LOL!!! Photo taken with my Canon R50, an RF to EF adapter, and EF 50mm f/1.2 lens. The equivalent is 80mm.

DJI, a Chinese manufacturer of the Mavic 3 Pro, a wonderful drone, is in the hot-seat with our Congress, as they want to stop all sales of DJI products in the USA by means of a Bill. This is now being viewed and organized with a US company that is licensed to produce the same Mavic 3 (non-Chinese) at an exuberant price, $5100-$7700.

Currently, US government departments are not allowed to use any DJI products with the fear that the data would be sent back to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) as a spying tool.

Generally, this Canon R50 camera is for my all-purpose usage, due mostly to being able to swap 2 lenses, such as the Sigma 8-16mm, and the Sigma 18-250mm. Yes, I like my Leica, but it doesn't have the lens interchangeability, and it has a smaller sensor. Consequently, I get better image quality at 24 Mp with a larger sensor.

For a long time, I've been writing my articles, notes, and images in my Bibles. Because I use multiple Bibles, this became a huge task and very time-consuming. I decided to create a one-time notebook in a small 3-ring binder. And it has turned out quite well.

I think my Dad would have been proud of my photographic endeavors.
1. I have been awarded in an International Contest with the theme of Natures Colors.
2. I have won two local awards.
3. I have shot over 100 weddings, including one in Italy.
4. I have been involved in several photo workshops with Bryan Peterson.
5. Since 12 years old I have endured through film photography and to the present of digital photography.
6. I am an expert at photography apps, such as Photoshop and Nik Collection by DxO.
7. I have a Hasselblad 500 C/M, a camera my Dad always wanted.
8. After he passed, I continued to purchase all of the Time-Life books on photography, completing what he started.
9. I was Photographic Editor of my college year book staff.
10. I have traveled to a number of locations, mostly Italy, in my photographic journeys.
11. I have excelled from the technical aspects to the art of photography with more than 50 years of experience.
