Congratulations to Emily & BJ Riker !!! 🎉

We were able to make Emily's vision of a Vader themed wedding dress come to life with the cape!
It was a turtleneck caplet that drapped in the back. We added wire around the seam of it so she could make it form fitted to her.

We think she looked absolutely stunning ! ^_^

Kingsport Senior Center You & Your Sewing Machine. We started our Spring/ Early summer semester and learned how to use our machine. My students gave some awesome feedback on what they'd like to learn over the next few weeks such as capris, napkins, alternations, and a few other things.

The Philosopher's House You and Your Sewing Machine Workshop. I was able to help a dear friend learn how to use her machine. We even started a bowl cozie right before we left.

Don't forget this Saurday is Cosplay Creative Circle at The Philosopher's House from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Corsetmaking final night🪡 so proud of these two!!!

They learned how to put the bias tap around ( will be finishing up by hand sewing), grommet insertion, and lacing ! They looked fantastic!!! 🙌👏

We were also able to squeeze in a how to make a bowl cozie session.

We ended up getting all three layers sewn, channels established and the boning for structure.

Cosplay Creative Circle tonight!
We had some working on linocut projects, restoring a historic jacket for the vampire court, and Hobbit robe progress!!

Next one is April 13th !

Cottagecore Corsetmaking Day 1:
We picked out our corset style, cut out the pieces and sewed the first layer .

Also meet Penny the Pincushion. I couldn't handle how cute !!!!
