It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sale of my unique labor of love, Scarlett and Co. in Jonesborough, TN. As many of my wonderful customers, family, and friends know, I took on a COO position of a local company in Bristol about 6 months ago. The position has since grown and is requiring more of my time in our hometown of Bristol, which is a 45 minute commute to Jonesborough. It is in the best interest of my family to expand and dedicate myself to this position; which, requires 100% of my time. Therefore, I will be opening up and accepting offers for the next 8 weeks to purchase my business, including all
clothing inventory. Our jewelry and art creators can continue at your and their discretions.
Due to the time constraints we are going to conclude the sale prior to October, which happens to be one of our busiest months of the year and the beginning to our holiday shopping season. Our loss can be your gain. Your first quarter in business could offset the purchase price by a significant amount. The ideal candidate for purchase is a hard working individual who is no stranger to small town business and enjoys social media/online sales and marketing. My husband (small business CFO) and I are willing to assist with the transition and offer support in all aspects including software mergers and accompanying you on your initial trip to market if necessary.
My husband and I look forward to spending many events and holidays in Tennessee’s oldest town with our children attending camps, shows, and creative classes offered by our amazing adopted community. Our three year experience as members of the JAMSA board, as well as the lifelong relationships within the Jonesborough merchant community is an experience we will never forget.
I can’t begin to explain the immense amount of love I have for our employees and artists. These women are not only friends, they’re family that I will carry with me as long as I live. This crazy adventure we call life brought us to Jonesborough and we hope for many more adventures and opportunities to continue these beautiful relationships.
