Last week, my daughter and I decided to try something completely new together… and I have to admit, I think I found my newest creative obsession. 🤍

This was our very first finished project, and I’m honestly so proud of how it turned out. There was definitely a learning curve, but creating something with our hands (together!) reminded me why I started Little Loops and Knots in the first place.

While crochet will always be at the heart of my business, I love finding new ways to create cozy, handmade pieces. So… you just might start seeing a few of these popping up alongside my crochet collections. 👀

I’m still learning, experimenting, and figuring out where this journey will take me, but I’m excited to share it with all of you.

Who knows… custom pieces may be in the future. ✨

For now, I just wanted to say, “Hi, this is something new I’ve been working on,” and thank you for following along as Little Loops and Knots continues to grow. 💕

Another market completed 🤍✨ Thank you Temecula for another successful market!

Usually after markets I come on here and make my normal “thank you” post and talk about how great the day was… but today I wanted to share something a little different.

In almost 2 years of doing markets, I’ve never had someone make a negative comment at my booth. Most people are incredibly kind, supportive, and appreciative of the quality and the time that goes into each handmade piece. Even when something isn’t in someone’s budget, they usually smile, set it down, and move on—and that’s completely okay.

But today was a first.

Someone got very loud and very opinionated about the pricing of one of my turtles… a turtle that takes me around 1 hour and 20 minutes to create by hand. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t shake me up a little.

Then something really beautiful happened.

Shortly after, someone came in and purchased my most expensive item without hesitation (thank you Jesus 🤍). That small moment completely shifted my mindset. And after that… my turtles started selling left and right.

So instead of ending today with just a “thank you Temecula” post, I want to say thank you to every single person who values handmade work. Thank you for understanding that crochet isn’t just yarn—it’s time, skill, creativity, and love stitched into every piece.

You are seen. You are appreciated. And you’re the reason small handmade businesses keep going.

Until the next market 🧶✨🤍

Did my first (mostly) solo market yesterday and WOW… major respect to the vendors who do this alone every weekend. I was alone for probably the first 3/4 of the market, and the quiet moments between customers felt so much longer without my husband there. I didn’t realize just how much his company, support, and teamwork help carry the day until I had to do most of it solo. I was honestly so relieved when he was finally able to come back later in the evening. 🤍 So grateful I don’t have to do this business alone.
