Moms of grown kids know that nothing is promised. The time is incredibly fleeting. And that moments with her kids are fewer and farther between.

They understand, as perhaps no one else does, that time is finite. That their babies are growing further and further away.

Moms of grown kids will take all the time they can get with their kids. Because their kids never stopped being their world.

Today we celebrate 250 years of freedom, resilience, hope, and the countless ordinary people who have helped shape this great nation.

From small-town Main Streets and neighborhood parades to backyard barbecues, homemade ice cream, fireworks, and waving flags, these are the moments that become the memories we treasure for a lifetime.

As we celebrate Independence Day, may we be thankful for the liberties we enjoy, remember those who sacrificed to protect them, and pray that God continues to shed His grace on America for generations to come.
