Dean wondered into this interesting looking shop while on a work trip to Juneau. He stayed a few hours documenting the shop, and the process of a belt being crafted. I made a new friend for life, thanks Dean, it was an utter pleasure.

I received an email yesterday saying that my wallets are extremely thin and don’t look durable. They went on to tell me how they’ve paid far less for more durable looking wallets. I kindly tried to explain that a thick or beefy wallet is not the test of durability; longevity is. I’m sure I waisted my words.
This wallet has 7 years of use and patina, and it’s still going strong. Here’s to another 7 years 🍻

Two hands, and thousands and thousands of products made.
When I was in the fourth grade I discovered music in the form of the band U2. I was so obsessed with them that if I listened to anything else, I felt like I was betraying them. I would literally look at their poster and tell them I was sorry. OCD, obsession, culty; call it what you want. My whole life has been about passionately pursuing things. When I discovered leather working in 2012, it was game over.
Since then I’ve made more wallets, belts, and key clips, than seems humanly possible in that amount of time.
Thank you for all the love and continued support as Ashleigh and I step into this next season, and open our very first storefront, right here in beautiful downtown Juneau, Alaska.
