Well folks I pulled out the Puddle Hopper supplies and whipped out some towels. All proceeds will be donated to Valley Baptist Academy Preschool.

Each set comes with two cotton flour sack towels as seen in the photos. $25 per set. Only Fireweed and Black bear sets available. A perfect handmade Alaskan gift or stocking stuffer. Limited supply available.

I also have two flawed sets available at reduced price of $12, I can get you more info and photos if interested.

I can take cash or Venmo. Pickup is located in the valley near Rotary Park. Local delivery is $1 extra and must be paid with Venmo. Message me to arrange purchase.

With the final sale over I have taken all the remaining inventory and divided it into easy to mail groupings/boxes. I have 1 box that hasn’t been claimed yet, and potentially a few more. Cost per box is $35, shipping is included. Each box will contain the following:
15 Towel Seconds(flawed)
2 Tote Bags
1 Lawn Flamingo Towel Set
8 dishcloths
Full retail value $98!

Each box will contain a random assortment of towel designs, tote bags and dishcloth colors. Alaskan designs are extremely limited so expect most items will be in other designs.

Sometimes we have to say “No” to good things in order to have the time and energy to say “Yes” to the most important things.

My reason for shutting down Puddle Hopper and saying “no” to being a business owner. I want to be able to say “Yes” to him. “Yes” to spontaneous adventures. “Yes” to being a full time mom to my little Mini Hopper.

Wondering what a second is? These are towels that don’t pass final inspection and are deemed 2nd quality.

So towels with some kind of flaw. Could be a small paint drip, a seam that needs sewing, discoloration on the fabric, or designs that didn’t come out perfect. Some flaws are barely noticeable others are more pronounced. But at $2 a piece these are a steal!

If I stacked all my remaining towel seconds for this final sale In one big stack how tall would it be? 9.5 ft! That is nearly 2.5 ft taller than basketball great Shaquille O’Neal. That amounts to a lot of great deals.

The time has come to fully pull the plug on Puddle Hopper.

It all started as just a hobby, a way to keep busy when I quit my job while we were working on figuring out adoption. Then it morphed into a viable way to make money to help defray the cost of adopting. And now over 4 years later our son is here! Puddle Hopper just doesn’t fit into my current life and it has served its purpose. So now is the right time to call it quits.

Thank you for all your support and encouragement over the years! This business was so much more than just a business. I learned so much about myself in the process. And it will always be a part of my journey to motherhood and for that I am so grateful.
