What a day! I started off by making a cross back apron, then over dyeing a jacket for my dear client Finn, then working on some more super secret things for which included me working with for the first time in about 7 years—forgot how much I LOVE to work with this stuff! I’m going to go take a bath and drink some tea now 😅

I’ve been doing so much dye work in the past week and it is bringing so much joy even if it’s snowing outside which is making my lack of a dryer/clothesline situation difficult 🥲😂 I made this skirt and ombré dyed it for Finn this morning and listened to MCR the whole time and honestly I think that energy made the skirt better 🤷🏻 thanks for letting me make you pretty cat skirts, Finn!

I have a HUGE intricate dye project going on tonight for and I am honestly having a blast with it. It’s been so long since I got to do crazy precise dye work and I’m having so much fun, especially because I’m navigating challenges of not having a professional costume shop at my disposal, but my home kitchen. My cats are enjoying the show. Thanks Sydney and Connor for the exciting challenge with this piece 🥰 I love working with y’all and I can’t wait to show off this project.
