It’s 3 a.m., I’m sitting here pumping with baby Maverick asleep beside me, and I still can’t believe we welcomed him into the world this week🤍

We’re settling in at home, figuring out life as a family of five, and I’m recovering from my third C-section in 4 years. It’s equal parts beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and full of gratitude.

And honestly, this season of life is exactly why The Real Life Edit exists.

Earlier this year, I made the difficult decision to close my boutique so I could be more present at home with my kids during this chapter.

After years of helping women shop, I realized something important:

Most women don’t need more clothes.

They need help styling the clothes they already own for their real lives.

I created this space to help women feel confident in what they wear, no matter what stage of life they’re in.

A little styling reminder: you don’t need to buy an entirely new wardrobe for a trip🤍

When we think of New Orleans, we usually think bright colors, bold prints, fun accessories, and outfits that feel a little extra. And while that can be so fun, it also doesn’t always make the most sense for our everyday closets - especially for those of us who naturally lean more neutral.

Instead of buying a bunch of colorful pieces you may only wear once, I’d rather invest in 1-2 fun accessories or statement pieces that can be styled multiple ways throughout the trip. A colorful shoe, scarf, bag, or jewelry moment can completely change the feel of an outfit while still working with pieces you already own and love.

The goal is always to make your wardrobe work for your real life - trips included✨

After years of owning a boutique, I realized something…
