It may not be millions but it sure is a lot of this one person business. We have been doing this since its founding in 2019!

🧶KNITTING AND FIBER ARTS CLASSES FOR 2026-27 SCHOOL YEAR! 🧶

Hello Everyone! I am a local homeschool mom that has provided knitting and fiber arts classes for the last 4 years in the Flathead Valley!

These are the details for this coming year!

-PROGRAM DETAILS:

SCHEDULE FOR KIDS CLASSES 8 years and up!

September – December (Semester One)

Start date: September 18th

End date: December 18th

February – May (Semester Two)

Start date: February 5th

End date: May 7th

EACH SEMESTER INCLUDES:

7 class sessions

14 hours of hands-on instruction

Small class sizes for individualized guidance

Creative projects to take home and enjoy

Knitting is our primary focus, but every semester offers opportunities to explore additional fiber arts and discover new creative skills.

-CLASS DAYS:

First and Third Fridays of each month

Unfortunately, we are not able to provide make-up classes or refunds if you miss our scheduled classes. Instructors still have to show up even if students do not.

-TIME:

1:30 PM – 3:30 PM

-LOCATION:

The River

1275 Highway 2 West

Kalispell, Montana

-TUITION:

$150 per semester

$30 supply fee per semester

Family Discount: $50 off tuition for each additional family member—sibling or parent—enrolled (supply fee not included).

Refunds are not available once the class has started.

-CLASS SIZE:

Maximum: 12 students

Minimum enrollment: 6 students

WHAT STUDENTS WILL LEARN:

Students will gain experience in a variety of fiber arts, including:

Knitting

Weaving

Embroidery

Needle Felting

Creative Fiber Design

Color, Texture & Pattern Exploration

BEGINNING KNITTERS WILL LEARN:

Casting on

The knit stitch

Casting off

Basic finishing techniques

Hand sewing and simple project assembly

POSSIBLE PROJECTS:

Small stuffed animals

Headbands

Hair bows

Coasters

Ornaments

Short scarfs

No previous experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creative spirit! We’ll have fun, make friends, and create beautiful handmade projects
throughout the year.

I saw this image during worship a while ago, and I just had to try and put it down as a tapestry! ❤️🏞️

Jesus loves you! He isn’t counting your sins against you! He dealt with it on the Cross! Whether you are a new believer, an atheist or a Jesus follower for decades, this message applies to you!

I have wanted, for a while now, one place where everyone can see my work, sign up for classes and a link for people to spread the word about what we offer here at More Than Threads!
What we offer keeps expanding and it couldn’t make me more happy!

This beautiful new shawl is off the loom!
I wanted to show you the process of cutting the warp and getting it off the loom and also how I knot the tassels!
The whole process is meditative and peaceful.
This particular shawl is something that I measured and designed section by section. It was so interesting to see how from paper it turned into an actual product!

I’m putting a feeler out for classes for adults!

Please pm me and let me know if you are interested and what your area of interest may be. Depending on demand it’ll be one or two Friday evenings a month.

Potential classes offered:

- Basic knitting
-Advanced knitting
- Embroidery on knitted garments
- Sewing on a sewing machine
- Fiber Prep( Washing sheep fleece, combing , carding)
-Weaving
-Needle felting

I’ll be doing a year-round (school year)
fibre Club/ classes for kids starting September to May. Where I’ll be teaching all these things spread throughout the year. I just want to know if adults would like the same thing for themselves as an adult only class!
