Alteration Shop at Hallmark Kankakee The Sewing Business actually began in l976 in a log cabin home in Kankakee on the river. But one day, we realized we must grow, so we moved on. Get ready!

It was the nicest place anyone would ever want to be and we thought we would live there forever. Little did we know that moving on would take us many many places we had never dreamed! Circling back at last we found ourselves once again in Kankakee on Station Street since 2008. We sew for approx. 100-120 pr. week presently and still growing. Denita, Gerald, Lynn, Sandy along with our new trainees L

easelle and Jewel; it's an "all in the family" type business. We sew anything from formal wear to little muffins for pet squirrels... (?) Well, if you asked we might give it a try. We're havin' fun as we also encourage people to believe in God and spread the Gospel before Jesus returns.
