Theresa reached out around a year in advance to book her alterations. She was really sweet to work with. Her dress had very little alterations because it already fit her so well. It received a hem and a bustle. The main work she wanted was the creation of a lace topper and custom cathedral veil to match. Swipe to see some of the process and then the finished result.

Kennedy reached out for a redesign on her mom’s 1980s wedding gown. She was super sweet to work with and knew already what she wanted: a short dress with more of a tank like bodice with removable puff sleeves.

⭐️ Redesigned the back and front to have satin built in tank design.
⭐️ new clear invisible zipper installed
⭐️ Added panels to the sides
⭐️ Shortened to above the knees with a cut out hem design.
⭐️ Made the puff sleeves from the original sleeves and added snaps for easy removal.
⭐️ Handbeaded all the beads that had to come off in the process.

Congratulations to our Bride Morgan!

Morgan contacted me about a month before her wedding. She has previously taken her gown to another seamstress for alterations but wanted her bodice taken in a little bit more and some custom sleeves made from her hem remnants. During her fitting I noticed that her liners stuck out a few inches past her top layer so I asked if she would like those rehemmed and her bustle reworked to look a little more even. So we ended up doing a 9 point bustle instead of the three.

Her rehearsal gown was her mother’s wedding gown. It was a few sizes too small so we: removed the straps, added bonding throughout to make it strapless, removed the zipper and installed a corset/lace up back.

Both turned out beautifully 🥰 looking forward to seeing photos from her special day 💕
