One of my favorite parts of creating is getting to come alongside someone else's vision and help bring it to life.

I'm so thankful that Sword & Sparrow trusted me to help produce these beautiful pieces—from the water bottle decals and stickers to the printed products you see here. While the artwork and designs are entirely theirs, I had the joy of collaborating with Sarah and bringing her ideas to life.

What I love most is the purpose behind it all. Every product is designed to encourage people to keep God's Word close and make biblical truth a visible part of everyday life—whether that's on a water bottle, in a journal, on a laptop, or displayed in a home.

I encourage you to follow and check out the amazing work being created. Their heart for encouraging others through Scripture is something I'm grateful to be a part of. I know there will be more inspirational items to come!

Welcome to Sam's Whimsy Studio!

If you've followed me for any amount of time, you've probably noticed one thing...

I can't pick just one hobby 😂

One day I'm making stickers, the next I'm photographing nature, creating paper goodies, designing journals, or dreaming up something completely new. And somehow there are always cats supervising every project.

So instead of trying to fit everything into separate boxes, I've decided to bring it all together under one cozy creative home:

Sam's Whimsy Studio.

This is where you'll find:

This rebrand is bittersweet.

Many of you have known me through Sam's Crafty Cats, and that name was inspired by my very special little helpers, Glub, Hunter, and Leo. While Glub and Leo may no longer be here, they'll always be at the heart behind every project I create. They'll forever be my original Crafty Cats.

The Whimsy crew featuring Hunter, Pumpkin, and Gabby, continue the tradition of supervising every sticker, notebook, photo, and late-night creative idea.

Thank you for sticking with me through seasons of creating, growing, grieving, and starting over.

My hope is that this page becomes a cozy corner of the internet that inspires you to slow down, make something with your hands, embrace a little whimsy, and maybe collect a few more cats than you originally planned.

Hello! I'm going to start by saying, it's been a while hasn't it?

In 2023 we unexpectedly lost our Kikie Leo due to non regenerative anemia. It crushed me. A year later I still wasn't feeling myself and found all the creativity and time sucked out of me.

God made a way to adopt a sweet Kikie from the same place we had gotten Leomachito at, his name was Pumpkin just as Leo's had been from where we adopted him. In 2024 when we adopted P***y donuts we also uprooted our lives from city living to homesteading fixer upper, open our home up further to more family type of life.

I was forced into a creative role again and realized I had missed that part of myself. Having lost Leo really hurt my heart.
My heart as it seems would be taking more hits. In the beginning of 2025 we lost our sweet Glub Glub from the same issue we lost little Leo from. It seems the condition of the home we moved to combined with the stress of moving had triggered the anemia that sat dormant.

While Hunter also got badly sick, he recovered. But my Glubulous Jub Jub who was the whole mascot for this page's logo and my trauma healing buddy, pushed me even farther from feeling like I could come back to this page.

A few months after Gub Gub passed, we almost ran over a sick kitten. With the intention to get her better and sell her, we took her home. That notion didn't last long and she quickly became part of our family. Princess Gabby who reminded me so much of several of my Kikies and let me know she has her own personality was another gift from God.

As 2025 closes to an end my husband and I were deciding on our word for 2026. We opted for Live, and the more I pondered how, the more I thought of how much my kikies over the years taught me how to live. To show up without it all figured out; to play, rest, and be present in the time you get; and that it goes fast so I'd better live. They sure did and I know their Kikie siblings are.

That was a REALLY long way to say, I'm sorry I dropt off the planet and I can't guarantee I won't again. However, I finally have some ideas and am willing to try again. For Leo, for Glub, for Hunter, for Pumpkin, and for Gabby.

Stay tuned for free printables, upcoming events, and of course my creative Kikies. Also might be rebranding so I don't feel trapped in the past, but rather try and move forward with my Kikies always in my heart.
