Our wonderful neighbor Gilded Chaos turns 2 and we are gonna celebrate! Today is a great day to plan a visit this Saturday and do some dancing and shopping!

In 1964, to mark the release of ‘A Hard Day’s Night’, twelve women were selected to attend the premiere as promotional “vendors,” each wearing one of three specially made dress styles. After the movie, they all were invited to go back to the Dorchester and attend the party with the Beatles, where many of the girls got their dresses signed by all four!

Later that same year, the dresses were released again in a limited, numbered edition as promotional pieces for the album. Today, they’re incredibly rare and seen as a really special piece of early Beatlemania history.
