This week's Coffee Club feature is Uplift Coffee! Let us share their story. ☕
Uplift believes coffee is a relationship, not a transaction. Founder Kelli Huslig spent her career as a teacher and school administrator before opening Uplift's doors on January 28, 2020, just weeks before the world shut down. She didn't leave education behind, she just found a new classroom, one built on hospitality and making people feel welcome.
When the pandemic hit right after their opening, Uplift leaned into serving their community instead of pulling back. That same season, Kelli's son Trey joined full time and has since grown the business through a mobile coffee truck, wholesale partnerships, and their own roasting program. After training with Tracy Allen of Brewed Behavior, Trey has been roasting Uplift's coffee since May 2025.
This week's beans carry that story with them:
Guatemala (San Miguel) - chocolate and complex. Trey selected these beans himself on a trip to Guatemala, spending time with the producers and visiting the mill to see the journey from farm to cup.
Hill Climber Espresso - dark chocolate, nutty, fruity finish. Their signature blend, built for balance whether you drink it straight or with milk.
