It’s prom season! A lot of prom dresses have trains now which are great for pictures, not so fun where everyone is stepping on it all night. All you need a is a quick bustle and your dress still looks amazing! Pictured with the bustle up. We also took up the shoulders to help with gapping that was happening in the back. I’m so bad at taking before pictures so these are all pics done after I completed the alterations. 😜🤦‍♀️😁

This super cute thrift store find needed a new zipper and we also took in an inch through the zipper since it needed to be replaced anyways! I love to encourage people to thrift shop and then get tailoring/alterations done. In the end you wind up with a garment that fits perfectly!

I had the honor of tailoring the yellow jacket for this adorable bookshop wedding. Through the shoulders we took in the shoulder seam, took out the excessive shoulder padding, and shortened the sleeves. Congrats to the happy couple!

This amazing bride just celebrated her one year anniversary! She looked absolutely radiant on her special day! Alterations we did to her dress- shortened the shoulders, lessened the plunging neckline, hemmed the length, completely lined the front of the bodice with fabric from the hem, smoothed out the back panels, added sleeves with fabric from the hem, and a ballroom bustle. I’m so in love with the color of this dress! Client said she’ll be chasing after a little one the entire wedding and wanted to make sure her dress was secure and out of the way. Tightened the shoulders, tacked the front panels together, and did a hem.
