WHY HELP?
✅Deadliest Natural Disaster in the State of Hawaii since becoming the 50th state!
✅Death toll @93 with only 3% of decimated area searched to date!
✅Family members (thousands) still missing!
✅No power or communications to the majority of the west side!
✅No effective transportation routes! They were checking registrations today not letting people pass!
This is the latest out of Maui, from my immediate family member Blake. He is boots on the ground trying to get supplies and coordinate support. With supply chain issues currently on Maui anything going in by air isn’t being received UNLESS there is a receiving party at the airport. This clearly isn’t possible so now massive piles of supplies that have arrived are being locked up and not distributed. There are massive transportation problems getting from the west of Maui past Lahaina at all currently by road.
CIRCUMVENTING SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES
I have determined for my needs transportation of large items to include generators, solar panels, solar panel connectors, and VHF Radios, boat is 💯 the way to go. I suggest that for anyone trying to do anything similar as well.
COMMUNICATION ISSUES

I have only been been able to coordinate via text with him the last two days as he has to drive to the other side of the island to have any communications, and then cannot pass back through Lahaina at times to get home as it stands now. Follow him on all social media play to get the most up to date info as to what’s happening in west Maui.
FOCUSED EFFORTS
My plan is to focus on Maui’s west side generator needs. We will obtain the generators (through donations) and ship them by boat out of Oahu to Kahana Harbor Maui. The items will be protected until Blake can receive them, they will be distributed personally to those in west Maui who need them most.

*Due to their being shipping issues with gas (even fumes) in generators I cannot accept any used generators.
