Iβm honestly just sad & disappointed βΌοΈ
After 5 years as a vendor at Painted Tree, from the very beginning, this is how it ends⦠no notice, no communication, no final payouts. Just gone.
For people who didnβt know, Painted tree was a company that had over 60 locations nationwide holding about 200-300 small businesses in each. I had two locations Katy & Kingwood.
We were sent an email yesterday afternoon letting us know that they were ceasing all business operations immediately.
We were told we had 10 days to move out⦠and then suddenly it turned into 48 hours. How is that even possible? Some vendors have locations out of state. People have full setups, inventory & livelihoods tied into this.
If they knew this was gonna happen why were they accepting new vendors as of days ago? Knowing you owe vendors THOUSANDS of dollars. I mean $10,000 up to $300,000 guys..
We had no chance to run a sale. No chance to prepare. No final checks for this monthβs sales. No deposits returned.
Now Iβm scrambling trying to save everything Iβve built. This wasnβt just a booth. This was income us vendors depended on, something I poured years into.
Just gone like that. Absolutely frustrating & disappointing.
