It was a busy week in child care last week: creating volcanoes, becoming robots (thanks to our teachers' creativity) and practicing sign language. And it ended with a wonderful visit to the Cheshire Children's Museum!

On Saturday, we celebrated an amazing career! Terry Sykes retires this week after 42 years with Rise, helping families all around the Monadnock Region. We gave her a proper Rise graduation, and celebrated with colleagues past and present, including our founding executive director.

Early Intervention Experiences of Families with Deaf or Hard of Hearing Children

Early intervention (EI) also known as NH Birth to 3 Family-Centered Early Supports and Services or (FCESS), provides comprehensive evaluations and therapeutic services for infants and toddlers, birth through 2 years of age, who have, or are at risk for, developmental delay or who have an established condition. EI services take place in the child’s natural setting like your home, childcare or around your community. Service Providers help integrate developmental activities into everyday routines, supporting families as the primary facilitators of their child’s development within everyday routines and activities.

Pop-up Food pantries in Fitzwilliam and Gilsum today!

Today is the first mobile pantry of the season. Please share with anyone you think may benefit from these locations.

Eligible households are invited to attend one of these sites to receive a variety of fresh and shelf-stable food items at no cost. Events will be held rain or shine, and on-site enrollment will be available. If you have any questions, please call (603) 352-3200.
