It is very hard for me to share this with all of my wonderful guests. I do apologize for not responding to your calls or texts the last few weeks. I’ve recently literally had life ripped away from me with the tragic loss of my husband of 45+ years.
Just prior to that I made a hard decision to close my shop on Cherry Ave and move my business to my home shop. In doing this I’ve switched up the business to only sewing formal wear ie; bridal, prom, evening gowns and suits. Also venturing out into custom and contract sewing. An custom signs on various textiles. I will miss my regular guests and the good times we’ve had.
Looking forward to the New Year and all the 2020 weddings, proms, military, policeman’s balls and all the various events.
Replicating favorite items or custom making your ideas! Also having some fun with the signs!!

Big News! Seams by Starla has moved “home”!! I’ve closed my shop on Cherry Ave. I will still be available to sew ALL bridal, formal wear, custom and contract sewing! Please visit my updated website . I’ve added some fun additions like screen printing and custom signage on most textiles!! I’m excited for these much needed changes.

Sorry I will no longer be available for mending or alterations on daily wear items. 😢 Thank all of you for your business and understanding!
