The last few weeks of summer are some of my favorite days of the year 🍉

I’ve learned that if I don’t intentionally make space for them, work will happily fill every minute. So this is what our rhythm looks like right now:

☀️ Slow mornings. We sleep in, cuddle on the couch, drink coffee, play board games, watch a movie, or just enjoy not having anywhere to be.

💻 Childcare from 10–3, Monday through Thursday. Those hours are protected for deep work. No chores. No errands. No distractions.

📅 I batch nearly all of my meetings into one day each week so the rest of my schedule stays flexible.

🌊 Fridays are for my boys. Water parks, swimming, CrunchLabs experiments, playdates, or whatever adventure they come up with.

🤝 I ask for more help than usual (both at home and in my businesses). Buying back my time is one of the best investments I make this time of year.

🎨 I let my kids be bored. Some of their most creative ideas come after they tell me, “There’s nothing to do,” and I love seeing what they dream up next.

The work will still be here in August. These summer days won’t.
