Kappa Delta is more than a century-old sisterhood of more than 230,000 initiated members. Kappa Delta is confidence to be your best and realize your dreams with the support of a national sisterhood that is there for you every step of the way. It's $10.6 million given to prevent ch

ild abuse and lending hearts and hands to the Girl Scouts of the USA with self-esteem workshops and leadership seminars. Kappa Delta Sorority is committed to providing opportunities and experiences that inspire women to greatness. The purpose of Kappa Delta Sorority is to promote true friendship among the college girls of our country by inculcating into their hearts and lives those principles of truth, of honor, of duty, without which there can be no true friendship. The object of Kappa Delta Sorority is the formation and perpetuation of good fellowship, friendship and sisterly love among its members; the encouragement of literature and education; the promotion of social interest; and the furtherance of charitable and benevolent purposes. “Joining Kappa Delta in Fall 2023 brought me an abundance of what I was hoping to find in college. Even in my very first interactions with KD, I knew this was where I was meant to be, and that these ladies would always push me to be my best self. Through the stress and long nights of nursing school, the women around me have constantly reminded me to give myself grace, pushed me to keep going, and helped me become more confident in myself both inside and outside of school. Starting my senior year in a few months, I feel so proud of how much I’ve grown over the last few years, and so grateful that Kappa Delta has been such a big part of that growth. “

“Being a Kappa Delta alongside my sister makes the experience so much more meaningful and special to me. I love the way it’s brought us even closer, giving us shared memories, traditions, and a deeper sense of connection. From chapter events to everyday moments, it feels like we’re building something together that we’ll always look back on. I knew I wanted to be a Kappa Delta not only because of my sister, but it’s where I feel at home. On the last round of recruitment, when I walked in and saw Liz, I just knew. I hadn’t talked to her all week. During that round we both cried hysterically because we had missed eachother so much during the week, and needed our sister. I’m so beyond thankful that I get to not only be sisters by blood but also by choice. Being KDs side by side is something I truly cherish, and I love every part of it.”

“When Allie ran home to Kappa Delta, it was such a special kind of feeling that’s hard to put into words. Allie is my best friend, and watching her grow and flourish in Kappa Delta is an experience I pray others will get to have. Not only did we share the same values growing up, but now we get to experience tradition in Kappa Delta that grows our relationship beyond what I can put into words.
