It is with sadness and a lot of excitement that I share the news that Penny Lane Emporium is closing. After 5 wonderful years and a lot of soul searching, I have come to this decision with peace in my heart. Penny Lane was born from a love of retail, the Kennett community and a desire to be an entrepreneur. I chased that dream wholeheartedly and loved every minute of it. Penny Lane was my baby. Much like parenting it was filled with pride while watching it grow and take shape. Similarly, and simultaneously, it was tiring and all consuming. After many changes in my personal life and a desire to dedicate more time to my family, I was presented with an exciting opportunity that is a better fit for me and the people I love. I am closing this chapter feeling successful and blessed. I chased a dream and accomplished my goal.
My customers have made this a beautiful experience. Thank you for your friendship, support and smiling faces. Many friends were made on this journey.

Starting tomorrow, we will be offering 25% off everything in the store. Our target closing date will be shortly after Mushroom Festival. Stay tuned for discounts and closing details throughout August.
