I remember the day it happened so clearly. My mom had the TV on in the kitchen and was heading to her room to bathroom to finish her hair before work. Not long after it came on the TV. I say the planes hitting the towers.. I was in elementary school so I didn’t know much, but knew something terribly wrong went on. Seconds after the phone rings I hear my moms voice get a little upset, she runs to the kitchen and turns off the TV. I remember my mom just at a loss. She debated on sending my sister and I going to school. When I got to school we went there for long and we were sent home. The older I got the more I understood and to this day it just breaks my heart. I have not forgotten. ♥️🤍💙
