The Sails Outlet for Safe Harbor is an upscale thrift store that was established to offset the operating expenses of Safe Harbor Crisis Nursery.

The Sails Outlet is a nonprofit thrift store located near downtown Kennewick which provides an upscale shopping environment for used clothing, furniture, and other items! All of the profits go directly to Safe Harbor. There is no paid staff—the store is run by a group of about 30 hardworking volunteers. Come visit us! Donations in the form of clothing items, toys, books, collectables/antiques can be made at the Sails Outlet Store or at Safe Harbor Support Center. Due to limited space in the store we can not accept large appliances, mattresses, older cribs, and car seats. Donations can be made during regular store hours. Volunteer
There are many ways you can help out at The Sails Outlet! We are looking for big-hearted, hardworking volunteers to assist with the following:

Donation coordination
Housekeeping
Marketing
Sales
Volunteer coordination
Maybe you’d like to volunteer every night of the week. Or, maybe you can only spare a few hours every month. Either way, we’d love to have your help! For more information, please give us a call at

Looking for support, encouragement, and practical parenting tools? Join our CARES Program this June at Safe Harbor Support Center!

CARES (Children and Parents Resilience Education System) is designed to help parents and caregivers:

💙 Learn trauma-informed parenting techniques
💙 Increase resilience for both parents and children
💙 Decrease negative behaviors at home, daycare, and school
💙 Gain support in a welcoming, judgment-free environment
