Welcome to Maternity Traders, the website designed especially for expectant mamas to buy or sell maternity clothes. I was so disappointed.

Maternity Traders is a website created by a mom to be a community for moms and moms-to-be to connect with one another and buy and sell their gently used maternity clothes. My name’s Amanda, and I created Maternity Traders for one simple reason: I needed it. When I was about 4 months pregnant with my first baby, my clothes started to get just a little too tight. Of course, I realized I would need t

o buy maternity clothes. However, as a young newlywed, I just couldn’t afford to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe, so I started looking on the free and for sale pages online. There was a limited selection and it never seemed to be in my size or style. So, I bought a few staples from the store and tried to make do with my pre-pregnancy wardrobe. As the months progressed, my husband and I started looking for nursery furniture at a reasonable price, and we kept running in to the same problem: the items available on the local marketplace weren’t what we wanted. One day, at lunch with my dad, I was expressing how frustrated I was, “I know exactly what I want, I just can’t find it anywhere.” His response was simple: “There should be a website for that.” And, so, Maternity Traders was born. This website was built by a mom-to-be for the mom-to-be, so I know you’ll find exactly what you’re looking for!
