McHenry Dog Daze was a success!

We had such a great day on Saturday in Cary, IL on meeting amazing people, seeing familiar faces, plenty of happy pups, and connecting with fellow dog lovers. Thanks to everyone who stopped by our booth, chatted with us, and checked out our gear!

Our friends at North Carolina Urban Mushing Events are bringing this incredible event back for its third year on Saturday, December 5 in Holly Springs, NC—and you won't want to miss it!

Whether you're an experienced canicross team, looking to try your first race, or simply want to enjoy a 5K with your dog, there's something for everyone:

🏃 Dog-Friendly 5K for runners and walkers (with or without dogs)

Ready to take your canicross skills to the next level? 🐾🏃

Join Joy Weis of Lucky Fox Racing on September 13 for an interactive Canicross Drills Session, hosted by the and McHenry County Canicross-Official

This clinic is perfect for both new and experienced teams, covering everything you need to become a stronger, safer, and more efficient canicross team. You'll learn about proper equipment, race opportunities, temperature considerations, dog care, and how your movement as a runner directly impacts your dog's performance.

ICYMI: We will be there! Stop by to check out our canicross gear, get a personalized harness fitting, and chat with us about finding the perfect setup for you and your canine teammate.

The session will include drills focused on:
🐕 Running form and posture while connected to your dog
⚡ Cadence, speed control, and efficient starts
🗣️ Canicross commands and team communication
🏁 Race and training preparation
💙 Dog welfare, recovery, and safe training practices

Participants will also enjoy a guided 1–2 mile group run with plenty of breaks, along with opportunities for individualized feedback on running form and team movement.
