Today, we join our community in honoring the courageous men and women who gave their lives for our freedom.

We had a memorable Memorial Day in Kenton, starting with Blake McElroy and Justyn Clevenger attending as Jennifer Whitaker Ramge's VIP guests to introduce Boom Stick Armory. The festivities continued with a wonderful rendition of the Star-Spangled Banner, capped off by a perfectly timed F-15 flyover. The parade was fantastic, and we wrapped up the day rocking out with Charlie Bonnet III

🎯 Staff Spotlight: Meet Blake McElroy

It’s time for another Staff Spotlight! This week, we’re introducing you to one of the faces behind Boom Stick Armory—part-owner Blake McElroy.

🏡 Small Town Through and Through
Growing up in Byhalia, Blake has always appreciated small-town living and the values that come with it. He made his forever home just down the road in Mt. Victory, where he and his wife, Emily, are raising their three boys—Barrett, Beckett, and Bennett.

🎣 Built on Tradition
Blake grew up hunting and fishing and has always loved not only the sport itself, but the friendships, stories, and traditions that come with it. That passion still carries over today—especially when it comes to sharing it with his boys.

He’s a big SIG fan, but lever actions are what really catch his attention. Blake has already started passing down the tradition of collecting and responsible firearm ownership to his sons, gifting each of them a Henry Silver Boy as their first firearm.

⚖️ More Than the Shop
When Blake isn’t at Boom Stick Armory, he’s serving the community as the owner and operator of Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton and Mt. Victory. Whether he’s helping families, talking fi****ms, or swapping hunting stories, Blake believes in treating people like neighbors—because around here, they usually are.
