how much would you save if you were buying gas on an average 15 gallon tank? 15g X.03=.45 cents in savings. what if you only put $10 worth of gas? that is about 3 gallons of gas, so really you only saved .09 cents. if you walk in to sheetz and buy a coke and a snickers, you spend more money than any other mom and pop store that you could have stopped at because everything in their store is higher. save .03 cents per gallon when gas is at $3.65. or .03 cents per gallon when gas is $4 does not really matter. the point is, gas fluctuates too much for us to look for the cheapest price around, because by the time you find it, you spend money looking, and tomorrow gas is higher. its too expensive period
