Help our wildlife migrate and shut off unnecessary lights tonight especially but it’s always a good habit to keep

LIGHTS OUT: Tonight will feature a *huge* night of bird migration in Ohio! Over 11 MILLION birds are forecast to fly through the state. You can be helpful for the birds by turning off or dimming unnecessary lighting during the peak migration of 11PM - 6AM! I expect we will continue to see large migrations over the weekend with much warmer temperatures! What species of birds have you observed lately at your feeders? - 8:40 AM 5/15/2026

I have made the difficult decision to close the storefront at the end of this month. It has been a great almost 3 years. Many happy memories were made. I have loved hearing about everyone's adventures and hikes! Now its time for my family to have more time for our own adventures! The website will still be open. I still plan to host group hikes, nature classes and story times out at parks and in the community so stay tuned! I appreciate each and every one who has chosen my shop for everything from books to birthday parties. This will not be goodbye just goodbye to the storefront. A new one with more trees and less blacktop may happen in the future but for now I am scaling back the business and scaling up adventures for my family!
