The skirt shirt and reversible belt were designed by me out of vintage Guatemalan embroidery cotton and Brazilian yard dyed cotton for a marriage made in heaven. for sure!

Introducing the A Line T Shirt Skirt.

Made from your favorite old tees, concert shirts, college memories, travel shirts, and pieces too meaningful to throw away.

Each skirt is custom designed from 6 to 8 clean T shirts and professionally sewn with finished seams for everyday wear and washing.

Every design is different because every story is different.

Clients receive a sketch before sewing begins. Local fittings are available by appointment.

I’m nervous about this one. Let’s talk about failure. It happened a lot in my first decade of garment making. I’m working on three decades now and it still happens, although currently not as many. Most issues are small and are able to be altered nowadays. I remember making so many skinny jeans without acquit stretch and not being able to get them over my hips, proportions being way off for my hobbit body and color. Oh was that a hard lesson! My husband titled one dress, The Naked Dress. I’ve made so many very time consuming garments that don’t look good on me and I’m sure I’ll continue. However most people do it see that. They only see that I made something awesome. Most do not see all the flaws unless you have half a butt cheek hanging out. I promise to share all of the issues I learned from really stretching my skills to new possibilities. The skirt ruffles are next. there is math and division to have them lay evenly. Again bitting off more than I can chew is a good thing as well as there are no failures.
