Hello all! I established this business under the name Cherry Ave Designs several years ago, when my passion was focused more on painted furniture. Over the years that focus has shifted to general vintage reselling. My tastes are very eclectic and this has been reflected in my retail space. About a year ago, I started feeling that my business name should be more closely tied to my personal identity and that the style represented in my retail space should start to zero in on something more cohesive.
A few months ago my husband and I brought in some "man-tiques" including vintage signs, fishing items, tools, etc. In the coming months, I plan to start liquidating my MCM and kitschy items via Facebook (on my page and within selling groups) in order to create a more harmonious style in my room at The Emporium “Past to Present” . I will be leaning more into cozy garden cottage vibes with less painted furniture and a limited color palette.
This process may take a year or so, but I hope you'll enjoy walking with me through this next phase in my journey.
