“Wahoos mark the beginning of the warm water season in the Azores when pretty much anything can happen! We are still not there, quite the contrary 🤣 Last few days presented cold, dark water. But looking forward to what this Summer will bring! At 16, this kid has seen more cool stuff and shot better fish than most well traveled men! Always a pleasure to dive with you guys! Cannot wait to go back!” 🤙🏽

Could always be colder! 🥶 “Now I don’t want to hear anyone ever again misuse the phrase ‘the water is freezing’! It was literally freezing on the surface from the air being -°5C, snowing and blowing 20knots to add to the wind chill. Why did we do this dive trip? “I’ve been called intimidating so many times in my life that I don’t even know if it’s a good or bad thing. Weirdly enough, I’m actually pretty shy when meeting strangers or in a group situation (often confused with a RBF).

It’s only in my 30s that I finally learned to embrace who I was and go « out there ». It’s been an odd journey, especially with social media as I hate talking about myself (years of severe bullying in high school will do that to you), but the misfit club is a pretty happy place ☺️” 🥂
