Over the last few days, it’s been hard to really put into words what’s been sitting with all of us since hearing about Crisco.
The truth is, we already had a new Crisco collection in the works before any of this happened. But after hearing the heartbreaking news, everything stopped.
We’re still trying to process it.
From the day The Lake Store opened its doors, Crisco was never just a design on a shirt. He became part of our story, part of our identity, and part of what made this little corner of Table Rock Lake so special. That stubborn, fearless little lake outlaw brought smiles to thousands of people, and he meant more to us than words can truly express. Honestly… he meant more to this store than some of our own family members, and that’s only half a joke.
We’ve had an overwhelming number of people asking for a memorial design, and because of that, we will be creating one.
Not because we have to.
Because we want to honor him the way he deserves.
This won’t be something rushed together overnight. It won’t be just another shirt. It will come from our hearts, our memories, and our gratitude for a goat that became a Table Rock Lake legend.
When it’s ready, we’ll share it with all of you.
It’s been incredible hearing everyone’s stories and memories of their own Crisco moments over the last four seasons at the store. Hearing how he showed up in people’s lives in their own way has meant a lot to us.
Born free since day one.
Remembered forever.
