As some of you know I also work in the OT world at Pride Pediatric Therapy and we are creating a food shelf for those who need the resource and for those who want to donate!
Spreading the word so that my clientele knows there will be this food shelf for the rest of the year in Wilton and also in case any of you would like to donate I can transport any goods there if you bring them to The Strand Family Hair Salon 🧡

🌟 Community Food Shelf at Pride Pediatric Therapy 🌟
For the remainder of the year, Pride Pediatrics will be collecting non-perishable food items for our families and community members. 💚🩵💜

Our goal is simple — to help one another. Whether you’re able to donate or could use a little extra support right now, you’re welcome to “take what you need, leave what you can.”

📦 Donation Guidelines:
🔹 Please donate only sealed, non-expired, shelf-stable food items.
🔹 Great options include canned goods (soups, veggies, fruit, beans), pasta, rice, oatmeal, nut butters, and granola bars.
🔹 No homemade or opened foods, please, to ensure safety for everyone.

💡 Program Practices:
🔹 Our food shelf will be checked regularly to make sure all items are safe and up to date.
🔹 Anyone is welcome to participate — no questions asked, no requirements.
🔹 We encourage families or local businesses to contribute when they can and take what they need without hesitation.
