🎓Sunday with Alumni!🎓
🏀Let’s catch up with Lynsey Timbrouck from the Class of 2007! While at KHS, Lynsey left her mark in the halls and on the court as a premier athlete for our varsity basketball team. Immediately after graduating KHS, she attended the College of Saint Rose on a full athletic scholarship for the women’s basketball team and majored in Public Communications.
🏰Following her college graduation in 2011, Lynsey was accepted into the Disney College Program in Florida. After completing that in 2012, she moved to NYC and began dating her now wife, Clarissa. It took Lynsey some time to figure out what she wanted to do as a career, so she started out waitressing and then shortly after, took a job as an executive/marketing assistant for a commercial investment properties company. In 2014, Clarissa and Lynsey moved back to Kingston where Lynsey began working in local government-first as a Community Liaison for the NYS assembly, then as the Confidential Secretary to Mayor Noble, the Recreation Leader for Parks and Recreation, and finally leading her to her current role as the Director of Parks and Recreation for the City of Kingston. Due to her involvement in the community, Lynsey was invited by the KHS class of 2017 to deliver the commencement address.
🏡Lynsey currently lives in Kingston with her wife Clarissa, their two kids, Parker and Charlotte, and their dog, Lilo. Lynsey says, “I’m grateful to be living and working in my hometown and hope to help build it better and stronger for my own kids and future generations.”
🐯A former Tiger raising a new generation of Tigers! Thanks for sharing your story, Lynsey!
