hello besties!!!!! we have a special event tomorrow that we wanted to tell you about!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Craft HV Collage Night at Senate Garage with Connect HV tomorrow Tuesday, 7/28!!!!

We are excited to collaborate again with Connect HV on a craft edition of the incredible creative community meetups (and online directory with over 1,400 creatives in the Hudson Valley if you still haven't signed up for free) founded by Jordan Koshchei to bring together community, crafting, creativity, and coping.

Melanie from Cowork Kingston had the kind idea to make one of the free collage nights we host together a pay-what-you-can fundraiser to raise money for our annual Heart of Midtown on September 19, 2026 from 2-8pm.

Here are the details!!!

Tues, July 28
5-8pm
Located at the Senate Garage (4 N Front St) in Kingston, NY (next to Cowork Kingston and the Senate House)

You can create anything! Here are some ideas:

1. Use one of our postcards to create a one of a kind postcard for yourself, a friend, a representative, or a stranger in a psychiatric hospital in collaboration with our friend Katherine Ponte of For Like Minds (https://www.forlikeminds.com/) with vintage magazines, ephemera, Hudson Valley One newspapers
2. Make a coping map or add to a community coping map by Dana Variano of Felt Tip Feelings (https://felttipfeelings.com/)
3. Bring your own project to work on
4. Bring your own journal

-All supplies provided (you are welcome to bring your own)
-Beginners welcome
-Family-friendly
-Free and open to all

HELLO, REWINDERS!!

Happy spring, everyone! I got a poem from a bubblegum machine this weekend that read: "It is Spring again. The earth is like a child that knows poems by heart." This is from Rainer Marie Rilke and cost me four quarters-- a dollar, if you will-- from said gumball machine, but you get it for free! That's all to say, I hope you all give the earth the poems you have in your heart this Spring.

Lastly, while Spring is a time for new beginnings, we want to look back on the amazing things we have to be thankful for so far this year.

Full disclosure, Mia wrote this email in April and it took me two months to send it out. I told myself I had all of May to send it out. It is now June. so happy summer, happy pride. boy do we have some fun stuff planned for you!!!!!

Earlier this spring, we had one of Rewind's annual events-- Go All In-- for Cass' birthday. We want to thank ALL OF YOU whether you donated, attended, or spread the word for your help in making this event possible.

We would ESPECIALLY like to thank our generous donors Turn Up the Beet, Half Moon Rondout Cafe & Donuts, Trans Joy Revolution, and everyone who attended the event--whether you watched from the shore or went all in. Thank you for celebrating Cassidy with us.

We would also like to highlight and shoutout all of the FANTASTIC people who have done workshops at Unwind so far this year. We have only just started having our rotating calendar of creatives coming in and they all been so fantastic. so far, we've had so many amazing workshops: mini eraser stamps, group guitar lessons, matchbook zines, calming your nervous system with herbal tea, many trial and error writing groups, upcycling old books into journals, and more.

Happy March, everyone! So sorry to the winter-lovers for jumping the gun here, but we are finally in Spring!! Flowers are blooming, its getting warmer, the Ides of March is upon us... what can be better? Et tu, Rewinders?

March also means we're in part two of back-to-back awareness months: Black History and Women's History. As a woman-owned and operated brand, we want to thank you for your support and urge you to continue supporting women-owned, Black-owned, Black-woman-owned, and bipoc-owned small businesses in the Hudson Valley + beyond!! Take some time to educate yourself this month and reach out into your community

For the first newsletter of 2026, we are reflecting on the amazing, hectic, spectactular year we had at Rewind with the 2025 Rewind Wrap-Up! Done with 2025 already? Don't worry, we're sharing some fun things coming up, too ;)

HELLO REWINDERS!!

We've been writing in our email openings that its starting to get chilly but FINALLY we can say it and actually mean it!!

The sun is setting 4pm which is incredibly offputting even though it happens every year.. but NEVER FEAR because Rewind is still here for you with community events, the latest trends, music recommendations, and more!

We forgot to send out our November newsletter so....here is is a little late. So many of you shopped small + local for Black Friday and came to visit us on Small Business Saturday. thank you for shopping local and supporting our lil family run business!!!

We are going to have surprises and fun things happening all month long so make sure to keep up with our Instagram for announcements! and stay tuned for our gift guide, coming soon ;)

come decorate cookies with us THIS WEDNESDAY 12/10 from 3-5pm! we will have cookies from the incredible baker Jennifer Perillo, who very kindly offered to bake gingerbread hearts for us to get into the holiday spirit! free as always in our back room with a lil acoustic performance by ginger winn

If you didn't know, we officially have a non-profit!!!! LoveCass is a nonprofit we created to support, fund, and create free mental health programs in the Hudson Valley, including our go all in cold plunge, our mental health music festival heart of midtown, supplies for our free wellness wednesday activities every Wednesday, and supporting local mental health organizations we love.

If you are able to donate, we would be so, so, so (so, so, so) thankful. Every donation allows us to continue putting on free community events and making them BIGGER + BETTER
