Welp… you know the saying “when it rains, it pours,” and man has it been storming the last 7 months 😂😭

Our huge stand-up freezer just took a dump and started defrosting. Most likely the compressor. I’ve got Merrits coming out tomorrow to look at it, but I’m pretty sure the repair cost will be more than just buying a new one. The guy from Merrits said if it’s the compressor, labor alone is about $1,200.

We had to toss some food just to fit everything into our little freezer (it’s popping at the seals). Luckily I was able to save all our deer meat and pork!

I need to get a new freezer, so I’ve gotta move some stuff fast.
