This is why we love old things. ❤️

A mother and daughter recently purchased a 1920s home and found several treasures left behind. They gathered them into a box and are sending them to the family who originally owned the house, how thoughtful is that?

Yesterday, they visited Honey & Ivy and fell in love with this vintage German tin, likely from the 1980s. After returning someone else’s treasures, they found one of their own to bring home. 🏡

🧺✨ NEW VENDOR SPOTLIGHT! ✨🧺

We are so excited to welcome Pat Hoppes Dunn with Tisket Tasket Basket to Honey & Ivy Collective!

Pat just brought in the most beautiful handmade rope baskets, and I am loving all the little details! 😍 From colorful fabrics and leather handles to antlers and western touches, each one is completely unique.

And the baskets are just the beginning! Pat also brought in:

🧺 Rag rope rugs
👗 Aprons
🍚 Rice bags
🎁 And lots of handmade goodness!

THIS is why I love what we do. 🥹❤️

A couple Saturdays ago, a gentleman came into Honey & Ivy looking for a birthday present for his wife.

They had visited before, and she had fallen in love with a green dresser she wanted to turn into a coffee bar. Unfortunately, that piece had already found a home.

So he asked me, “Do you have anything else that might work?”

Ohhhh… I had an idea. 😏

I took him to the back of the store and showed him this beautiful Jacobean-style sideboard/buffet. He liked it—but instead of making the decision for her, he brought his wife back later that day.

He walked her back to it…and she nearly cried. ❤️

She LOVED it.

We loaded it into their truck, and today she came back into Honey & Ivy just to show me this picture of what she created.

LOOK AT IT!! 😍☕️

She told me she put it at the bottom of her stairs, and every morning when she comes downstairs, she sees her beautiful coffee bar—and it makes her smile every single day.

And THAT might be my favorite part of selling vintage furniture.

It isn’t just about finding something old. It’s about finding the piece that feels like it was somehow meant for you.

This one definitely found the right home. ❤️

And please, please keep bringing me your pictures! Seeing how you style your Honey & Ivy finds is one of my absolute favorite things.
